The first of a new generation of turbocharged road cars from Maranello some 22 years after the F40 supercar ceased production, the California T continues the work of the 2009 California, harking back to Ferrari’s California models of old, where the glamour of top-down motoring meets the performance and comfort of an impressive grand tourer. Featuring a retractable hard top and 2 plus seating configuration, the California T demonstrates a degree of practicality that is also enhanced by the manufacturer’s choice of power output, using two twin-scroll turbochargers on a 3.9 litre V8 engine, added solely with the purpose of improving fuel efficiency and reducing emissions. The Ferrari California T boasts a 0–62mph of 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 196 miles per hour. The engine is matched exclusively to a dual-clutch gearbox. This fine 1:18 scale model of the Ferrari California T has been handcrafted and finished in our workshops using detailed colour and material specifications, and original CAD data supplied directly from the drawing office of Ferrari. Furthermore, it has undergone detailed scrutiny by both engineering and design teams to ensure complete accuracy of representation. Every Amalgam 1:18 scale model is supplied in a luxury black box with a protective outer carrying sleeve. Each model is mounted on a polished black acrylic base protected by a clear acrylic dust cover. The base holds a booklet containing the certificate of authenticity along with information and collateral material about the car. The model title and original branding is displayed on a polished stainless steel plaque mounted at the front end of the base.
